你是不是经常遇到：想表达“来不及了”，却只会说 "No time!"（老外其实说 "It's crunch time!"），想催人快点，脱口而出 "Hurry up!"（太生硬！试试 "Let’s get a move on!"），其实这样的表达还有很多。

时间紧迫

1. 正式/中性表达

Time is tight.

时间很紧。（适用于工作、考试等正式场合） 

We're running out of time.

我们快没时间了。

The deadline is approaching.

截止日期快到了。

2. 口语/非正式表达 

We're pressed for time.

我们时间紧迫。（强调时间不够用） 

Time's running out!

时间不多了！（带紧迫感，适合紧急情况）

3. 强调必须加快速度 

We need to hurry!我们得快点！

There's no time to waste.

没时间浪费了。

We're up against the clock.

我们在跟时间赛跑。

例句：

The project is due tomorrow—time is tight!

Might as well 倒不如；不妨；干脆 

one should do something only because there is nothing better to do

例子： 

We might as well go to John's place again, unless you think of  something more interesting to do.

You might as well try  你不妨试试。

The repair costs too much. You might as well buy a new one. 

修理费太贵了，你干脆买个新的得了。

1. 设备/电子产品没电 

It's out of power.没电了。

The battery is dead.电池没电了。

→ 最常用 My phone/computer died.手机/电脑没电了。

→ 口语化 It ran out of battery.电量耗尽了。

It's not charging.充不进电。

例句： 

I can't call you back—my phone's dead.我手机没电了，没法回你电话。

My laptop ran out of battery during the meeting.

开会时我电脑没电了。

2. 停电/断电（整个区域没电） 

The power is out.停电了.

→ 美式常用 There's a blackout.断电了。

→ 大规模停电 We lost electricity.我们断电了。
