我们在与人聊到一些人或事时，常会说“我知道这个”或“我认识这个人”，这个时候的“知道、认识”，到底是“know”还是“know about”呢？

Know someone：认识,还挺熟

I know Bill Gates. We go way back.

我认识比尔盖茨，我们很早就认识了。

I know him pretty well.

我跟他挺熟的。

We’ve known each other for 10 years.

Know someone: 认识,但不熟

We know each other, but not that well.
