一直词穷就尴尬了

电影的类型

一、Science fiction movies 科幻片

The movie is called Star Wars.

It is a science fiction movie. 

It is directed by George Lucas.

The main actor in the movie is Harrison Ford. 

(The special effects of the movie are very good) 

词汇补充：movie series／franchise 系列电影 

Ex: I really like the Marvel franchise.

我真的很喜欢漫威系列的电影。

二、Romance 爱情片

The movie is called Titanic.

It is a romance.

It is directed by James Cameron.

The main actor in the movie is Leonardo DiCaprio.

(the last scene is very moving) 

补充词汇：recommend 推荐 

Ex：if you haven’t watched it, I highly recommend that you go see it.

三、Action movies 动作片

The movie is called Mission Impossible.

It is an action movie.

It is directed by J.J. Abrams.

The main actor in the movie is Tom Cruise.

(the fighting scenes in the movie are very exciting) 

补充词汇：martial art movies 功夫片

四、Horror movies 恐怖片／Thrillers 惊悚片

The movie is called The Shining.

It is a horror movie.  

It is directed by Stanley Kubrick.

The main actor in the movie is Jack Nicholson.

(it is very scary! 恐怖的)

五、Animation／animated movies 动画电影 

注意动画电影不是cartoon

七、Documentary 纪录片

我刚看了一部电影叫做摩登时代。 

B: what kind of movie is it? 

是什么类型电影？ 

A: It’s a comedy 

是一部喜剧片。

B: Is it good? 

好看吗？

A: Yes, it’s very funny!

好看，很搞笑。

B: Don’t spoil it. I’m going to watch it tomorrow.
